The SF & SR lineup continues this legacy of the company, featuring brushless servomotors well suited for industrial as well as home applications. They feature a compact design making them suited for various working environments. The SF-A4.0230.030-00.019 works on permanent magnet technology with electronic commutation, working with the advanced Servo Dyn-D inverter system.

Cooling is achieved through natural convection, with an option for forced-air cooling. Some non-standard accessories are also included in this model. The motor is protected by an IP 67 rating for protection against fluids & the frame of the motor is constructed using an anti-corrosive grade of aluminium. It is manufactured as per IM B5 construction type. The mass of this servo motor is 25 kgs & holding brake (optional) weighs 1.04kg. The length of the rotor without holding brake is 341 mm. The flange diameter is ?142 mm & the output shaft has a diameter of 24 mm & length 50 mm. It is advised to use the motor with a DC link voltage of 670 volts. The rated speed is clocked in at 3000 min-1. The torque produced by this model is 22 Nm & locked rotor current of 14 A. The torque constant is 1.57 Nm/A. the maximum axial load it can bear is 154 N.

These motors have been rated to be used in an ambient temperature of 0-45 degree Celsius & 1000 meters above sea level. The SF series features a single-turn absolute value encoder system (STG) for precise speed and position control, with an optional multi-turn absolute value encoder system (MTG) with its precision rating at above said conditions comes out at SF: +/- 20 angular seconds/8 million incr./rev, ensuring accurate performance.
