Product Description
The SF-A4.0125.030-14.010 from Bosch is a motor part of the Servodyn-D inverter series. This a permanent magnet servo motor which is designed to be used with the fully digital. The SF motor series are designed to have the single turn absolute value encoder systems which allow the motor to control its speed and the position of its shaft. This single turn encoder outputs a unique code or data that corresponds to the angular shift and position of the shaft at a given moment. In the case of power loss, this encoder has a memory that stores all the data about the last position or angle moved to.
The SF-A4.0125.030-14.010 requires a dc link voltage of 670 Volts to operate. The motor can perform standstill operation offering 14.5 Nm of torque while consuming a current of 10.6 Amperes. This servo motor can produce a speed of 3000 rpm with a torque contact of 1.37 Nm per ampere of current. The motor encoder has a precision of +/- 20 angular seconds that it can detect while the resolution of the encoder is 8 Million Increments per Revolution, meaning it can divide the entire rotation of 360 degrees into small 8 million increments allowing for finer position meaning hence providing high resolution.
This particular model has the 14.010 special configuration that allows this servo motor to have a holding brake without a mating connector. The holding brake provides a transferable torque of 18 Nm while requiring an operation voltage of 24 Volts DC and consuming 0.7 Amperes of current. The brake transfers a moment of inertia of 3.1 10-4 kgm2 that allows it to decelerate the motor to a lower speed or a complete halt.
