The Bosch SF-A4.0125.015-00.000 is a 1500 rpm AC servo motor designed to be used alongside the Servodyn-D inverter system. These servo motors are designed to be permanently excited motors with electronic commutation allowing the switching of the coil to be controlled electronically. The SF-A4.0125.015-00.000 features a Single Turn Absolute Encoder, meaning the motor can calibrate or estimate its position by turning one complete rotation. The Servodyn-D inverter system can automatically adjust to the settings of the SF-A4.0125.015-00.000 servo motor instead of manually adjusting it.

This particular model features a feather key and a feather keyway at the shaft end allowing the servo to transmit torque to other components attached to the motor shaft. However, for high-end demands, it is recommended to use a smooth shaft as a keyway shaft may end up breaking or bending under multi-axis stress conditions.
