Product Description
SF Servo Motors are brushless industrial drives with sinusoidal electromotive force by Bosch, Rexroth. Permanent excitation with electronic commutation is employed as its operational principle and are used combined with Servodyn-D inverter system. Furthermore, absolute value encoders i.e. single turn STG with multi-turns MTG as optional absolute value encoder systems are used for its speed and position controlling. Low inertia of these motors helps in precise position controlling. By composition, these are compactly designed with a smooth Aluminum frame having low contamination.
The SF-A4.0091.030-10.053 rated speed is 3000 rpm with a Locked Rotor Torque and Current as 10 Nm and 7A respectively. The drive is designed with very low moment of inertia (including encoder) of 0.0021 Kilogram Square Meter and with Torque-Constant of 1.42 Nm/A. The motor length is 246 millimeters with international protection IP-67. The IP-67 makes this suitable for operating in highly machine unfriendly ambient conditions. The net mass of the drive is 13 Kg with a shaft size of 24 x50 millimeter.
In addition, the special features of the motors are following; installation pockets on all the motor length, cooling down of the motor by radiations and an electronic rating plate. The electronic rating is for the automatic optimization of the servodyn-D inverter to the motor. The International protection standards are quiet high as IP-67. However, this does not include the output side of the motor drive. The brushless technology makes it highly reliable and durable due to zero maintenance. SF motors are protected from overheating with thermistors sensors in the winding. The typical range of temperature for operation is -5 to 155 degree Celsius.
