Product Description
SF servo motors are industrial drives developed by the Bosch, Rexroth. The manufacturer is widely known for its world-class industrial automation parts. The products by Rexroth are highly dependable and robust with less or zero maintenance for most of its life. SF servo motors are permanently excited motors employing the principle of electronic commutation. The drive operates with sinusoidal e.m.f with an integrated absolute value encoder. The design of the drive is fully compact with a smooth and low-contaminated Aluminum frame. The cooling here in the drive is through natural convection. Wake Industrial, a leading name in the industrial automation parts, sells this product.
SF-A4.0091.030-04.053 is one of the drive of the SF Motor Drive series. It is brushless servo motor drive with sinusoidal e.m.f along with absolute value encoder i.e. STG optional MTG. The absolute value encoder is for the precise controlling of speed and position if the motor drives The A and 4 shows the design and frame size of the motor respectively. The rated motor speed for optimal performance is 3000 rpm as represented by 030 in the part number. The Locked-Rotor Torque is codified in the 0091 of the part number which is equal to 10 Nm. The option 04 describes that the motor shaft is with keyway and feather key and with out mating connector and with a holding brake.
The motor employs IP-67 standards for its protection against extrinsic machine hostile particles from both liquids and gases. One of the special feature of the drive is that motor has installation pockets with entire body of the motor. The temperature controlling is done with two NTC temperature sensors. The very less moment of inertia makes it very perfect for precision in speed controlling.
