Product Description
Having a compact motor has its advantages. For applications in which installation space is limited, having a quality AC motor that can still deliver adequate power is a must. Compared to SF-A4 motors, SF-A3 motors by Rexroth feature lighter and smaller construction, so you can have more space without compromising power or torque. From the SF-A3 family line, the motor model SF-A3.0093.030-04.050 originated. The SF-A3.0093.030-04.050 is an SF servo motor with an A3 frame, capable of reaching a consistent speed of 3000 rpm and a stall torque of 8.1 Nm. At stall condition, the respective current draw is 6A.
Common to all SF servo motors by Rexroth, the SF-A3.0093.030-04.050 also comes with an integrated absolute encoder. The incorporated encoder functions well either as a single-turn encoder or a multi-turn encoder. Furthermore, this motor model also has the default motor feedback common to most SF servo motors, which makes use of Tacho voltage for precise speed adjustment and control. The SF-A3.0093.030-04.050 comes with a holding brake that has a measured torque of 10 Nm at 120 degrees Celsius. The holding torque is the maximum torque that the brake can hold under favorable conditions. When the temperature of the motor increases to 120 degrees Celsius, however, the holding torque of the brake might decrease. At the activation of the holding brake, the current draw is 0.66 A. It takes 29 milliseconds to actuate the brake upon activation of the control signal. On the other hand, it only takes about 20 milliseconds to bring the brake back to its previous state.
The output shaft of the SF-A3.0093.030-04.050 has both a feather key and a keyway, which allows easier coupling to loads.
