The SF-A3.0068.030-10.050 is a Rexroth manufactured brushless AC servo motor. It is a variant of the SF series that has a basic version smooth shaft, without a mating connector. For high demands, a basic version with a smooth shaft is recommended. Synchronous motors can be braked immediately using plug braking modules if the motors cannot be braked actively due to an operating voltage or control failure.
The SF-A3.0068.030-10.050 have the locked rotor torque and locked rotor current (LRA) of 6.6 Nm and 5 amperes. The dimension of the flange is 116 mm and the maximum length of the rotor without the holding brake is 255mm. The machine has a moment of inertia of 11 x 10-4 kgm2, and this value also includes the encoders moment of inertia value. The precision of the motor is a variant of 20 angular seconds. The balance quality categories as N, R, and S in accordance with VDE 0530.
The construction of the motor is based on IM B5, and IM V1 and IM V3 are also used. IM V3 refers to the flange pointing upward whereas IM V1 refers to the flange pointing downward. IM V3 remaining liquid in the flange end shield is not admissible but IM V1 is admissible for oil-tight flange on the output side only if lubrication and heat dissipation at the sealed point are ensured using a suitable oil level or spray oil lubrication. This machine has relatively deficient maintenance as the ball-bearing life is quite extensive. It can work up to 20000 hrs without any issues and it is installed at the flange side. As far as the flange is concerned, it is installed under criteria IEC 72-2 / DIN 42 948.
