Product Description
The SF-A3.0042.060-14.000 is a highly sophisticated SF series servo motor manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The SF series AC servo motors come with permanent magnets and electronic commutators. The motor has a holding torque of 3.9 Nm at the stationary position and draws a current of 6 amperes at a winding temperature of 30 °C. The torque constant of the motor is 0.7 Nm/A an environmental temperature of 40 °C and is capable of providing a constant speed of 6000 min-1. The motor has the capacity to provide a moment of inertia of 7 x10-4 kgm2 including its encoder.
The motor provides feedback on its position and speed using an absolute value encoder equipped with either a single-turn (STG) system or a multi-turn (MTG) system. The precision of the encoder is ± 20 seconds whereas its resolution capacity is 8 million increments per revolution. It has a permanent magnet-type holding brake with a torque of 10 Nm when operated at 120 °C. it needs a supply of 24 volts to operate at a rated current of 0.66 amperes. The brake has the capacity to bear a moment of inertia of 1.06 x10-4 kgm2.
The mass of the motor is 7 kg whereas the mass of the brake is 0.6 kg. The flange diameter of the motor is 176 mm. The shaft diameter is 19mm and its length is 40mm. The motor’s maximum length excluding the holding brake is 223mm. The motor should be powered using a four-core cable with a cross-section of 1.5mm2 of each core. The brake of the motor should be energized using a two-core cable of cross-section 1.5 mm2 of each core. It uses a connector of size 1 for both cables.
