Product Description
The SF-A3.0042.030-14.029 is a low-voltage compact servo motor designed by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for commercial and industrial applications. The motor complies with the harmonized standards of the VDE 0530/ EN60034 series and can be installed in machines that comply with the requirements of the 89/392/EEC machine directive. The SF-A3.0042.030-14.029 features a smooth low contamination aluminum frame that is resistant to rapid deterioration and the penetration of both solid and liquid foreign interference. A special single turn absolute encoder system is also present in the servo motor for speed and accurate position control. The servo motor is a permanent magnet excited device, it operates at with a low intertia and is intended to be used with a D.C link voltage of 670 Volts.
Under normal operation conditions, the SF-A3.0042.030-14.029 industrial motor gets rid of excess heat by radiation and natural convection, operators can however choose to integrate an additional air blower with the motor to aid the temperature regulation process by forced air cooling. The rated input current required by this industrial servo motor for optimum operation is about 2.3 amperes, at this current the motor operates at a speed of 3000 revolutions per minute, and generates a torque of 3.7 newton meters. This servo motor also maintains a torque constant of 2.3 newton meters per ampere when it is in operation.
A holding brake is integrated into the housing of the SF-A3.0042.030-14.029 servo motor to retain the load connected to the motor when it is at standstill. The holding brake generates a transferable holding torque of 10 newton meters and requires a supply voltage of 24 volts. The total weight of the integrated brake is 0.6 kilograms.
