Designed for low-power applications the Bosch SF-A3.0042.030-04.050 is a 230 Volts AC servo motor that can reach a speed of up to 3000 rpm. This AC servo motor can be used for applications that require a maximum torque of up to 3.7 Nm with a current draw of 2.3 Amperes. The motor also features a single-rotation encoder needed for position calibration, however, the users can also opt for the multi-rotation encoder as well which allows the motor to know its position even after multiple rotations making it suitable for robotic applications.
The Bosch SF-A3.0042.030-04.050 features a holding brake used for safety purposes to prevent any kind of harm to the operator. The holding brake can generate a holding torque of 10 Nm, this is the torque needed to stop the motor to get it into a stationary position. The motor is IP 67 rated protecting it from dust and moisture making the motor suitable for environments with harsh industrial conditions. The motor also has both encoder and motor connections on the top and facing outwards making it easier to install the motor in limited space.
