Product Description
SF-A2.0020.060-10.000 is a high-performing permanently excited synchronous motor manufactured by Bosch for precision motion control in industrial applications, such as robotics, automation, packaging machines, printing machines, metal-forming machines, etc. Its compact design is optimized for operation with a direct current link voltage of 670 V. It comes with installation pockets over the entire length of the motor to provide convenient spaces for attaching mounting brackets or other hardware. The single-turn absolute value encoder system, efficient cooling system, and no-current torque are some of the many advanced features Bosch has incorporated in this motor.
With a rated speed of 6000 revolutions per minute (RPM), it can operate with maximum efficiency and use less energy. This motor can start under load because of its locked-rotor torque of 2.0 Nm, which is crucial for applications requiring instant full torque. It can draw locked-rotor current of 2.7 A to help in managing the initial power surge during startup. The 0.74 Nm/A torque constant of this motor is beneficial in decreasing operational costs due to reduced energy usage. It has a moment of inertia of 0.0003 kg meter square, allowing it to quickly accelerate and decelerate. Its 5.5 kg mass without the holding brake potentially lowers transportation and installation costs.
The IP 67 protection type protects this motor from water jets, dust, oil, etc. but its output side may not stand to conditions leading to corrosion or damage. Its flange comes with a well-defined size of 100 mm SW, ensuring a secure and stable connection. Its components can be easily connected or disconnected because of the presence of a plug-in connection for output and encoder. Its low noise level of 58 decibels allows for easier communication in the vicinity of the motor.
