Product Description
The SF-A2.0020.060-04.000 is a servo motor with the frame size of A2 manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The maximum torque that this motor can exert is equal to 2.0 Nm to start from a standstill and this is known as its Locked-rotor torque. This module can operate at the rated speed of 6000 rpm. At this speed, the module can run continuously. To produce the locked rotor torque, this motor uses an electrical current of 2.7 A, this current is known as the locked-rotor current. The torque produced by using each unit of electrical energy is given by the Torque constant (KT). For this servo motor, the value of torque constant is 0.74 Nm/A. This shows that 0.74 Nm torque is produced per ampere of current.
In order to know how resistant a motor is to changes in speed, is measured from the Moment of Inertia (J). The Moment of Inertia for this module is 0.0003 kgm2. It depends on how the mass is distributed on the axis of rotation. The value “0.0003-kilogram square meter” is relatively low so, it has low resistance to changes in speed. The holding brake prevents the motor from moving/turning when it is not supposed to move/rotate. This brake is included with this module indicated by the “04” in the model number.
The sensor responsible for the accurate position of the motor is of the type single-turn absolute value encoder (SF). Protection is equally important for a servo motor. This module comes with the protection type of IP67. The “IP67” refers to the protection from dust and water. The cooling mechanism for this motor is natural convection to get rid of heat. This module is covered by a one-year warranty.
