Product Description
Manufactured servo motors by Rexroth Bosch may come with an integrated encoder or resolver. Resolver-type servo motors are classified under the SR motor series, while motors with integrated encoders are categorized under the SF motor series. Focusing on the latter, the SF motor series may be further configured as a single-turn absolute encoder or multiple-turn absolute encoder. Typically, motors from the SF family implement natural convection for cooling and IP67 protection, particularly inside the motor housing. Depending on the intended application, SF motors may be mounted following IM B5, IM V1, or IM V3 design types.
The SF-A2.0013.060-10.037 is a specific motor model that comes from the SF family, having A2 frame construction, a locked-rotor current of 1.3 A, insulation class F, and a nominal motor speed of 6000 rpm. It has a smooth shaft that can bear a maximum axial load of 70 N. Unlike the SF-A2.0013.060-14 series, the SF-A2.0013.060-10 series of motors does not include a holding brake. Its dimensions, however, are like those of all other motors belonging to the SF-A2.0013.060 series. Without a holding brake, motors from the SF-A2.0013.060 series have a measured mass of 4 kilograms and a total length of 186 mm (about 7.32 in).
Careful consideration must be given to the ambient temperature and installation level when working with the SF servo motor series. Like other motors constructed by Rexroth, the loading capacity of the SF-A2.0013.060-10.037 may be derated up to a certain extent when operated outside the preferred ambient temperature range and installation level. For the SF servo motor series, the loading capacity will be derated over 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature and above 1000 m from measured sea level. At Wake Industrial, the SF-A2.0013.060-10.037 comes with a one-year warranty.
