Product Description
The SF-A2.0013.030-04.000 is an AC servo motor designed and developed by Bosch Electric. This AC motor has a frame size of A2 and features a feather key shaft that allows it to transfer its torque to other connected devices. The coupled device should be of low load as it may affect the construction of the shaft and cause it to deform. The motor is 206 mm long and weighs approximately 4.3 kg. It is also necessary that it operates in an environment with an ambient temperature of less than 40 degrees Celsius for it to function properly.
The SF-A2.0013.030-04.000 features a holding brake that allows it to stop the motor in case of emergencies. The brake operates at 24 volts DC and can be turned on using a PLC or other logical controllers that can be used externally. The brake is a permanent magnet brake free from backlash ensuring immediate and precise braking without delay or movement before the brake is applied. Users are also required to use an external 24-volt DC power supply to power the holding brake and the incremental encoder that the motor features. Both the connectors of the brake and encoders and attached to the top of the motor making it easy for the user to access them.
For accurate position control, the SF-A2.0013.030-04.000 has an incremental encoder with a resolution of 4096. The encoder is a single rotation encoder that requires the motor to complete one rotation to accurately measure the position of the shaft. The motor can reach a speed of up to 3000 rpm with a standstill rotational torque of 1.3 Nm while drawing a current of 0.9 Amperes making it one of the least electrically demanding servo motor in the series.
