Brushless servo motors are among these products and the SD-B5.380.012-01.000 motor is part of their catalog. Its performance is bolstered the SM 17/35-T servo module. This servo module together with a supply module makes up an operative installation. To control the speed and torque of the SD-B5.380.012-01.000, the servo module utilizes a rotor position recognition function and a brushless tacho. The SM17/35-T module regulates the current with the help of the commutation encoder of the motor. This ensures that a suitable current reaches the motor windings generating instant torque.
The module features a rated current of 17A, maximum DC link voltage of 700V, and a peak current of 35A. It has a maximum power loss of 150W, a 22W power supply to generate energy, and a rated DC link voltage of 460V. The short circuit braking ensures that the feed axes slow down in a controlled way in the event of an E.Stop. The resistor should have 785Ws minimum energy and 3.3Ohms resistance.
