The SD-B3.050.030-01.000 permanent-field servomotor by Bosch Rexroth is not meant to be operated without a supporting inverter. This motor incorporates fixed ball bearings at the driving or flange end. The product can be used with an inverter that has a peak current rating of 5 A or 10 A. This device supports an axial force of up to 200 N at the shaft with IM B5 mounting style. The unit does not make use of any encoder to support its operation. It must feature adequate heat dissipation at the site of its installation. This motor is capable of maintaining the protection standard only if the minimum cable cross-sectional areas are observed in the cable glands.
