Product Description

The RZM02.1-6-064 motor filter is intended to be mounted in the upright orientation. The voltage rating of the capacitors in the Bosch Rexroth filter should be checked before any work is performed on it to ensure that it is safe to touch the accessory. The product must encompass a copper conductor with a minimum 10mm² cross-section over the complete length for the protective connection. The device must always be installed such that there is no shield interruption between the motor and this converter. The unit is equipped with the ability to lower interfering voltages that can get triggered on the motor line when there is an increased EMC requirement.

The filter supports the functioning of multiple motor lines in parallel in instances such as when group drives are used. This product cuts down the excess transient voltages that occur on motor terminals when the motor lines are really long. The device designation is mentioned on its type plate. The unit is one of the main accessories in the manufacturer’s RD 500 drive system. It mitigates the strain on the winding insulation by limiting the possibility of power surges. The overall length of all the cables used with the motor is 75m if they are shielded and the accessory operates at 380VAC to 480VAC connection voltage, 200Hz maximum output frequency and 8kHz pulse frequency.

The unit should be used only if the drive system is implemented for applications that meet the national EMC regulations. The accessory must always be operated with a motor that depicts permanent grounding as per the connection diagram.
