Product Description
The RZM01.1-6-230 is a state-of-the-art device designed by Rexroth Indramat to prevent transient excess electrical voltage generated by industrial frequency converters from reaching the electrical terminals of the industrial servo motor. The application of this industrial controller helps to reduce the winding insulation of the motor; the motor filter also reduces the interfering voltages on the motor line, thus contributing to a general increase in the productivity of the industrial servo system. The RZM01.1-6-230 motor filter is also designed to be perfectly safe for industrial applications as it is manufactured with durable materials that are silicon asbestos-free. Special warning signs and symbols are inscribed on the housing of this converter; these signs provide the operators with additional information about the appropriate way of handling specific parts of the motor filter.
The RZM01.1-6-230 filter operates with a current of about 230 amperes and a connecting voltage that falls between 300 to 400 volts. Under standard operating voltage, the electrical components of these frequency converters generate an electromagnetic field that can interfere with the operation of some important medical devices such as cardiac pacemakers, hearing aids, metal implants, and lots more. Persons wearing any EMF-sensitive devices should not be allowed to move near the filter. The RZM01.1-6-230 does not generate a high amount of heat during operation; thus, it is not designed with an elaborate heat regulation system; the little heat generated by this converter during operation can be effectively controlled via natural convection.
The RZM01.1-6-230 motor filter contains six major electrical connectors, three input and three output connectors. All electrical cables inserted into this connector must follow the quality standrad stated by Rexroth Indramat in the user manual of the drive. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
