Product Description
The RZM01.1-6-165 is a motor filter. It is designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The filter is part of a series of accessories that are available for RD 500 drives and converters. The motor filter is connected between the output of the drive and the motor input and helps to reduce the transient voltages at the motor input terminals. These transient voltages are caused by long motor power lines and by the steep switching of pulse converters. The use of filters such as the RZM01.1-6-165 at the motor input reduces power surges, reduces strain on winding insulation, enables use of longer motor lines and helps with stricter EMC requirements. The RZM01.1-6-165 is rated for maximum 165 Amps current. The input of the filter is rated for a nominal range of 380 to 480 Volts AC.
The RZM01.1-6-165 is compatible with three-phase AC input. The maximum output frequency of the motor and the maximum line length vary with the pulse frequency used. A 4 kilohertz pulse frequency should be used if output frequencies of up to 100 Hertz and line lengths of up to 300 meters are required. A 8 kilohertz pulse frequency should be used if output frequencies of up to 200 Hertz and line lengths of up to 150 meters are required. The RZM01.1-6-165 can be used with converters rated for 75 or 90 kilowatts. For such converters, the nominal current at 4 and 8 kilohertz is 165 and 35 Amps respectively and the power loss is 400 Watts. Information listed on the filter type label should be checked against the order for the equipment. Height of the RZM01.1-6-165 is 360 millimeters, the depth is 265 millimeters and the width of the filter is 285 millimeters. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
