The RZK02.1-132-NN/S103 is an external heat exchanger designed by Rexroth Indramat to help in the regulation of the thermal energy generated by industrial frequency converters without an internal heat exchanger. This device is a very important part of the industrial servo system as it helps frequency converters to operate for a longer period without overheating. The RZK02.1-132-NN/S103 heat exchanger is designed for direct wall mounting, it is also a very durable device that is compatible with a wide range of industrial machines such as food processing machines, textile machines, paper converting machines, and lots more. The RZK02.1-132-NN/S103 heat exchanger does not contain an internal brake resistor, however, it can still operate with a cooling power of about 4 kilowatts.

The housing of the RZK02.1-132-NN/S103 heat exchanger is designed according to the IP20 protection class, thus this housing can effectively protect the internal component of the converter from solid foreign materials with external diameters larger than 12 millimeters. The operation, configuration, and wiring of this heat exchanger should be carried out by industrial operators that are familiar with Rexroth Indramat product and have gone through the documentation of the exchanger.  The RZK02.1-132-NN/S103 heat exchanger is also manufactured with materials that feature a high metal content, thus it can be easily recycled after the usefulness of the exchanger has been exhausted.

The RZK02.1-132-NN/S103 heat exchanger is about 340 millimeters long, and about 480 millimeters wide. The temperature regulation of this device is done via natural convection thus a minimum distance of about 200 millimeters should be observed above and below the device to allow for the easy movement of cool air in and around the exchanger.
