The RD 500 system is used for industrial applications such as chemical and process technology, machine tools, hoist- and conveyor technology, handling and assembly systems, and packaging and foodstuff machines.
The RR51.1-4N-011-P-V1-FW is a voltage frequency control drive converter designed for textile engineering. An easy startup is a priority in this drive converter and this is seen in some of its features. It has a parameter identification feature that allows for automatic motor adaptation. Its startup is also guided by an operator panel with a graphic display. This removable panel is used to operate, monitor, parameterize, copy parameter sets and transfer them to other devices. It has an integrated fault acknowledgement function to notify users faults that occur during the converter’s operation.
Operation at pulse frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 10kHz, and 12kHz are supported with the RR51.1-4N-011-P-V1-FW. As a model in the REFUreduc family, it suits the textile industry with its space-conserving NEMA 12 construction that prevents heat build-up. This converter is also fitted with radio interference suppression filters and line reactors that reduce the harmonics fed back into the line supply. It completely meets the EMC directives regarding noise immunity and noise emission. It also conforms with noise immunity specifications according to EN 50082-2. The approved ambient temperature for its operation lies between 0°C and 40°C. The relative humidity should not exceed 90%, and condensation is not permissible.
