The RD52.3-8C-160-W-MV-FW model belongs to the REFUdrive 500 family and some of its typical applications are machine tools, printing machines, and handling systems. The peak current utilized by the unit is 312 A for 60 seconds and 408 A for 1 second. The RD52.3 inverter is equipped with an integrated motor filter for a 50 m motor cable. The inverter consists of an internal liquid cooling system that uses coolant to maintain the overall temperature of the device. The device must be operated according to the ambient temperature 0 to +40 degree Celsius, prescribed by the supplier. 

The model RD52.3-8C-160-W-MV-FW should be mounted into the control cabinet due to its IP20 protection standard. RS232 and RS485 serial interfaces are placed in this inverter to attach the I/O devices, PC, or VT terminals. The firmware must be ordered separately according to the appropriate type code. Several LEDs are placed in this unit that shows the operating status of the device. The inverter is capable to operate under humid conditions (without condensation).
