Product Description
The Bosch RD52.1-8N-011-L-V1-FW is a RD51 drive controller. The modular drive hardware and software allow adaptation for various applications. Power sections on the drive controller are designed for cooling at the rear. This allows forced air cooling outside the cabinet. The RD52.1-8N-011-L-V1-FW can be commissioned through prompts on the operator panel. The drive can also be configured from a PC running the RDWin software application. The removable user panel on the system supports parameter copy function. Various interfaces such as Profinet, SERCOS and RS-232 can be used to control, monitor and parameterize the RD52.1-8N-011-L-V1-FW drive system. Combinable technology functions include mathematical function elements, timers, comparitors and ramp-function generators. An addition, a 32-bit signal processor is available for high-dynamic applications and servo applications. The inverter on the RD52.1-8N-011-L-V1-FW is rated for 700 Volts DC input.
The drive inverter does not include an integrated brake chopper. The rated motor output of the RD52.1-8N-011-L-V1-FW is 11 kilowatts. The stand-by power feature offers the following two advantages: parameterization, reading and writing of data sets even when the inverter is not connected to the DC link voltage and continued operation of field buses with disconnected power supply. This feature requires the connection of an external 24 Volts DC supply. To prevent ground loops, Bosch recommends that the 24 Volt stand-by power supply should be connected to X83 in a floating manner. The X83 could get damaged due to reverse polarity if this recommendation is not implemented. Cooling method for the RD52.1-8N-011-L-V1-FW is forced air cooling. This requires an external fan or blower to force air across the heated surface of the operating converter. The ambient temperature range recommended by Bosch is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
