Product Description
The engineering philosophy by which Bosch Rexroth products are designed and manufactured is one that encourages only the highest quality of work. This has been the motivation for all products created by the company, including their drive and motion control devices. A good example of this is seen in the RD 500 drive system, a state-of-the-art universal drive system for synchronous and induction motors. It is a three-phase system with modules that allow it to be tailored to user-specific applications. One of the classes of modules in the system is the RD51 line of drive controllers.
The RD52.1-7N-132-F-V1-FW is a drive inverter in Bosch Rexroth’s RD 500 drive system. For motion control, it adopts field-oriented regulation and belongs to the size class G. The power rating of the device is 132kW and it requires a nominal DC connecting voltage within limits of 530V and 670V with a +/-10% allowance. Heat dissipation from the device is by forced air cooling with integrated liquid circulation and a cooling air requirement of 0.4m3/s. When no line supply voltage is connected to the inverter, it uses an additional 24V DC standby power supply voltage.
The Ingress Protection rating of the D52.1-7N-132-F-V1-FW according to EN 60529 is IP 20, hence it cannot be damaged by the penetration of extrinsic solid objects larger than 12mm. It belongs to environmental class 3K3 according to DIN IEC 721-3-3, making suitable for use in a temperature-controlled location where the ambient temperature ranges between 0oC and 40oC. The relative humidity in this location should not exceed 90%, and condensation is not allowed as it can damage the device. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
