The Bosch Rexroth RD52.1-7N-110-D-V1-FW/S129 is a 110 kilowatts rated RD52 drive. Technical characteristics of RD52 drives include AC or DC supply, multiple cooling options, removable user panel with parameter copy function, short-circuit and idling protection. The drives support Synchronlink or peer-to-peer communication for rapid inter-drive communication. A 4-line graphical display can be used for drive parameter monitoring. The drive can be used to control various Bosch induction and synchronous motors for industrial applications. Bosch has placed special emphasis on the drive for simple handling, for instance automatic motor adaptation with parameter identification. The drive system is commissioned through the optional operator panel with graphical user interface, or through the PC based RDwin software package. The drive is fitted with a radio interference suppression filter and is immune to noise in compliance with EN 50082-2.
Overload capability of the RD52.1-7N-110-D-V1-FW/S129 is 170% overload for 1 second. A type label is attached to the drive. The input and output specifications, the drive type code, the serial number and firmware type code are listed on the type label. This label should be checked at the time of equipment delivery. The information on the type label also proves useful when accessories have to be ordered. The RD52.1-7N-110-D-V1-FW/S129 is based on an inverter that does not include a brake chopper. The supply rating of the drive inverter is 530 to 670 Volts DC. A plug-through cooler is provided on the RD52.1-7N-110-D-V1-FW/S129 for cooling. The RD52.1-7N-110-D-V1-FW/S129 supports the backup power feature. This features requires connection of an external 24 Volts DC supply to the RD52.1-7N-110-D-V1-FW/S129 drive. With this feature, the control electronics on the RD52.1-7N-110-D-V1-FW/S129 can function even in the absence of the main DC supply.
