Product Description
The RD 500 device is an ultra-modern, three-phase drive system designed by Bosch Rexroth for synchronous and induction motors. It comprises hardware and software components connected in a modular fashion, enabling a high level of adaptability of the drive system. The RD 500 drive system can be operated with AC or DC power supply. It has a four-line graphical display and is compatible with the Bosch Rexroth's digital drive controllers.
The RD52.1-7N-022-L-NN-FW is a DC inverter in the RD 500 system that utilizes flux vector control. As a result, it is suited to the most complex, highly dynamic operations. These include warehouse technology, winch drives, and paper machines. It is compatible with encoders such as the incremental encoder, resolver encoder, and sin/cos encoder. This device requires a three-phase supply voltage of 530V to 670V with a tolerance limit of ±10%. It also has a mass of 22kg and a rated motor output of 22kW. Its available interfaces include Interbus S Remote, CANopen, and Profibus DP slave. In addition, peer-to-peer coupling can be enabled using a fiber optic cable.
The protection rating of RD52.1-7N-022-L-NN-FW is IP 20. So, while it is vulnerable to water, it has complete protection against external solid objects with a diameter of 12mm or more. It has a rated current of 43A, and heat generated is dissipated using a forced-air cooling system. According to DIN IEC 721-3-3, it is a product of environmental category 3k3. Therefore, its operating room should be dust-free with a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C. It is navigated and commissioned with a removable operator panel, and its control terminal slip allows the connection of four isolated digital inputs.
