Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is specialized in the design and development of motion control equipment. The company produces various industrial automation products such as drive converters, inverter modules, and synchronous motors.
The RD52.1-5B-160-F-NN-FW model reflects the latest technology of Rexroth Indramat. The model is developed to provide high operational stability in several motion control systems. The RD52.1 drive converter comes with a flux vector control option and it is supplied with a 3-phase power supply module that generates AC 500 V to operate the converter. The RS52.1 drive converter includes 3 digital inputs, 1 analog input, 1 analog output, 1 relay output, and 2 serial interfaces (RS232 and RS485). The model generates 160 kW of output power while operating at the continuous current of 240 A. The drive converter consists of a line rectifier, capacitor link, IGBT Inverter Bridge, integrated brake chopper, and a line reactor. The brake chopper takes excessive energy from the system and releases it to the surrounding air in the form of heat. The overall dimensions of the converter are 1510 mm in height, 480 mm in width, and 380 mm in depth. The net weight of the RD52.1 converter is 180 kg. The model is mainly used to operate the three-phase synchronous and induction motors.
The model RD52.1-5B-160-F-NN-FW comes with a forced cooling mode in which liquid (coolant) is used to maintain the internal temperature of the drive converter. The operating software and the drive parameters are stored in the firmware module and it must be ordered as a separate sub-item. The normal temperature range for this unit is 0 to +40 degree Celsius, without derating. The converter can be mounted at the maximum altitude of 1000 m/sea level and during installation, make sure that the minimum prescribed clearance of 100 mm is maintained at the top and bottom of the device. The converter housing comes under IP 20 ingress protection. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
