The Bosch RD52.1-4B-400-R-V1-FW is a state-of-the-art drive system. It has an output power rating of 400 kilowatts and an input rating of 380 to 480 Volts AC. The converter on the drive is designed for three-phase input. The converter also features a built-in brake chopper. The drive is designed for liquid cooling and comes with an internal pump for the coolant. The RD52.1-4B-400-R-V1-FW also features 24 Volts stand-by power. This features allows the control electronics to operate in the absence of line supply input. A 24 Volts DC control power supply input is required for this feature. This stand-by power feature provides additional advantages including filed bus operation with disconnected power supply, parameterization/reading/writing of data sets in the absence of DC link supply and parameterization/reading/writing of data sets in the absence of line supply.
To prevent component overload, Bosch recommends that the 24 Volts DC supply for the stand-by power feature be applied to the X83 in a floating manner. If the recommended floating method is not used, then the X83 is not protected from reverse polarity. Firmware for the RD52.1-4B-400-R-V1-FW drive system needs to be ordered separately. The rated motor output for the RD52.1-4B-400-R-V1-FW are 4 kilohertz and 8 kilohertz pulse frequencies are 400 kilowatts and 315 kilowatts respectively. The output frequency ranges at 4 kilohertz and 8 kilohertz pulse frequencies are 0 to 150 Hertz d 0 to 250 Hertz respectively. The rated current for 4 kilohertz and 8 kilohertz pulse frequencies are 680 Amps and 540 Amps respectively. The rated output for 4 kilohertz and 8 kilohertz pulse frequencies are 448 kVA and 355 kVA respectively. Housing of the RD52.1-4B-400-R-V1-FW has IP 20 protection rating.
