Product Description

The Bosch RD52.1-4B-200-R-M1-FW is a Rexroth RD 500 drive with 200 kilowatts output power. The frequency converter on the drive supports frequencies greater than 150 Hertz without output chokes. The drive converter includes a brake chopper with continuous output power of 40 kilowatts and peak output power of 370 kilowatts for 0.1 second. The minimum resistance value for the brake chopper is 1.6 Ohms. The input rating of the drive converter is 380 to 480 Volts AC (three-phase). The output frequency range is 0 to 150 Hertz at 4 kilohertz pulse frequency. Additional technical data for the drive at 4 kilohertz includes 350 Amps continuous current, 455 Amps peak current for 60 seconds, 595 Amps peak current for 1 second, 230 kVA continuous power output and 299 kVA maximum power output for 60 seconds.

The rated current and power values for the RD52.1-4B-200-R-M1-FW are available when the air surrounding the drive is at a temperature that lies between 0 and 40 degrees Celsius. The RD52.1-4B-200-R-M1-FW relies of liquid cooling. A pump is provided on the drive for coolant circulation. The drive operated with derated values between 40 and 50 degrees Celsius.  Bosch does not recommended operating the RD52.1-4B-200-R-M1-FW drive at temperatures that exceed 50 degrees Celsius.
