The RD52.1-4B-090-L-NN-NN-NN-FW is a sophisticated drive system designed for speed and position control applications. The modular drive system operates on a three-phase connection and enables complete control over the connected motors because it is flexibly adaptable. This model is often used with the synchronous and induction motors produced at Rexroth. This model also has excellent electromagnetic compatibility. A line reactor and radio interference suppression filter are integrated into this AC drive converter that helps to reduce the harmonics fed back into the line supply. This model is in complete compliance with the EMC directives regarding noise emission and noise immunity. This device can sustain 200% overload for 0.5 sec and has a 170% overload capability for 1 second. The system has a torque rise time of 0.3 ms and a current cycle time of 0.1 ms.
The RD52.1-4B-090-L-NN-NN-NN-FW comes with various freely combine-able technology functions which include PID, D latch, RS flipflop, PI controller, AND, OR, and XOR. The drive controller gives an excellent performance in dynamic conditions because of an additional signal processor (32-bit floating-point). This model utilizes the forced cooling technique to avoid overheating after continuous usage. The rated power of this drive controller is 90 kW. It is possible to parameterize this device for better adaptation. The parameterization menu provides an option for motor ramp-up/ramp-down time and motor adaptation. Parameterization is done through a menu prompt in the user panel. The operator is provided with pre-defined functions for a fast and simple start-up. Besides basic functions, a technology controller, logic gates, comparators, and several multi-function blocks are also provided.
