The RD51.3-8C-090-L-NN-FW is an industrial drive controller specially designed by Rexroth Indrmat for application in unfavorable industrial conditions. This industrial servo motor is renowned for its ability to operate with an efficiency as high as 95 percent in harsh operating conditions. The RD51.3-8C-090-L-NN-FW controller can be configured to meet the operation requirements of a broad range of industrial machines such as food processing machines, paper converting machines, assembly machines, packaging machines, and lots more. The drive controller operates with a U/F drive line curve control. Integrated into the front panel of this industrial converter is a user panel that consists of a four-line screen display and some important function keys. The RD51.3-8C-090-L-NN-FW servo drive allows for peer-to-peer coupling or synchrolinking, this makes the communication between this drive and other servo drives easy and efficient.

The RD51.3-8C-090-L-NN-FW industrial servo drive can generate an output power as high as 90 kilowatts through the industrial motor to which it connects. The overload capacity of this industrial drive is about 200 percent of the rated current. This servo drive requires a connection to an inverter which will provide it with a nominal connecting voltage of about 700 volts for optimum operation. The temperature in the controller’s housing is kept within the expected temperature range by forced cooling, the converter contains an internal air blower which facilitates this temperature regulation process.

The maximum ambient temperature range for the operation of this servo drive is about 40 degrees Celsius while the maximum installation height for the converter is 1000 meters above sea level. This servo drive generates a leakage current during operation, thus all parts of the drive must be connected to the grounding connection of the servo system.
