The RD51.2-4B-005-P-A2-FW is a standard Bosch Rexroth Indramat frequency converter. The software and hardware are modular and ensure excellent compatibility with individual driving needs. The RD51.2-4B-005-P-A2-FW also features a function block that is freely switchable for simple PLC requirements. This model uses parameter identification with the sophisticated RDwin software application for automatic motor adjustment. It belongs to the VFC series and has a voltage of 380 – 480 Volts (±10 percent).
The RD51.2-4B-005-P-A2-FW is supplied with an inbuilt braking resistor with a 15-kilowatt output power rating. This frequency converter checks the external brake resistance by calculating a thermal model using its firmware. If the limit values of the thermal model are exceeded, the frequency converter shuts down to prevent the braking resistance from overload and displaying a "braking resistor" error. RD51.2-4B-005-P-A2-FW uses a plate-type heat exchanger to regulate temperature. This frequency converter also contains a starting inhibitor and 24 Volts standby power supply for devices in its output power range.
