The Bosch Rexroth RD51.1-8N-045-L-V1-FW is a state-of-the-art three-phase drive system. It can be used for control of induction and synchronous motors. The RD51.1-8N-045-L-V1-FW features a DC inverter rated for 700 Volts DC (±10%). Brake chopper is not available on the system. The rated nominal power output of the drive system is 45 kilowatts. Additional function supported by the system is 24 Volts stand-by power (external). This feature requires a 24 Volts DC control power supply and enables the control electronics on the RD51.1-8N-045-L-V1-FW to operate in the absence of line supply voltage. Advantages offered by the stand-by power feature include the ability to parameterize data sets in the absence of line supply voltages and DC link voltages. To prevent ground loops, Bosch recommends connecting the 24 Volts standby power to the X83 in a floating manner.
