Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is a developer of some of the world’s most efficient drive and motion control units. The RD 500 is a three-phase drive system designed and manufactured by this manufacturer for the operation and control of different kinds of synchronous and induction motors. The components of this system are arranged in a modular configuration that allows the system to be adapted to suit numerous applications. Some of these components are AC drive converter, inverters for DC supply, rectifier and supply modules and other drive accessories.
The RD51.1-7N-045-L-V1-FW inverter model by Bosch Rexroth is one of the units that make up the RD 500 system. It employs the U/f curve control method and requires a nominal connecting voltage that ranges from 530V to 670V DC with a ±10% allowance for its operation. It is a Size Class C control unit and can be operated at different pulse modulation frequencies up to 12kHz. With a 24V external standby power supply, operations such as parameterization of data sets and the sustained operation of field buses can be carried out when no line supply voltage is connected to it. The power rating of the inverter is 45kW.
For its cooling, the RD51.1-7N-045-L-V1-FW uses forced air cooling and has a cooling air requirement of 0.2m3/s. Like other components of the RD 500 drive system, the control unit complies with the EMC directives on noise immunity as radio interference suppression filters and line reactors are integrated into it. These reduce the feedback of harmonics into the line supply. It can be parameterized and commissioned remotely using the RDwin software package or directly using its user panel. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
