Product Description
The Bosch RD51.1-7N-004-L-NN-FW is a universal three-phase drive system. Technical characteristics of RD51 drives include AC or DC power supply, removable user panel with parameter copy function, support for various communication interfaces including SERCOS and RS-232, peer-to-peer coupling and 4-line graphical display. The RD51.1-7N-004-L-NN-FW is a drive based on an inverter. The drive inverter input rating is 530 to 670 Volts DC. The permitted variation in input voltage is 10%. The drive unit does not include a brake chopper. Rated power output of the RD51.1-7N-004-L-NN-FW is 4 kilowatts. This rating is valid for 4 kilohertz pulse frequency and specified ambient conditions. A change in the pulse frequency or drive operation outside specified ambient conditions leads to a change in the drive output specifications. RD51 drives are modular and support various optional functions.
However, no optional function is available on the RD51.1-7N-004-L-NN-FW. The recommended ambient temperature for drive operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. RD51 drives support multiple cooling methods including forced air cooling, liquid cooling and heat dissipation panel. Bosch has designed the RD51.1-7N-004-L-NN-FW for forced air cooling. The minimum air flow rate required for the drive is specified in the product documentation. Customers need to specify the firmware for the drive as a separate subposition. The drive includes radio suppression filters and a line reactor for suppression of harmonics fed into the line supply. The RD51.1-7N-004-L-NN-FW is immune to noise in conformance with EN 50082-2. Operators can commission the drive from an operator panel with graphical display. Operators can also commission the drive from a PC with the RDwin software package. To minimize installation errors, only trained professional should install and operate the drive system.
