The RD51.1-5N-030-L-D1-FW is a state-of-the-art industrial controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to accurately control the speed, position, and general operation of synchronous and Induction motors used in industrial production processes. This controller is produced to meet the IP20 protection class; its housing unit only offers it protection against the interference of large solid materials. For optimal protection, this controller should be installed in an additional control cabinet that meets the IP54 protection class. This industrial controller also features a modular design that makes it possible for the industrial operator to replace any part of the controller without needing to reconfigure the whole servo system. Under ideal operating conditions, this industrial controller can operate at a top level for more than five years; however, the wrong handling of the controller can cause a significant reduction in the service life of this controller.
The RD51.1-5N-030-L-D1-FW industrial controller operates with a nominal input voltage of about 500 volts; at this voltage, the controller stimulates the motor to generate a power output of about 30 kilowatts. The rated current used by this industrial controller is about 45 amperes; however, this controller can also operate with an input voltage as high as 90 amperes. The internal temperature of this controller is regulated via forced ventilation. To aid this temperature regulation process, operators should ensure the controller is installed in the control cabinet with a minimum clearance of about 120 millimeters to allow the easy movement of cool air in and around the controller.
The RD51.1-5N-030-L-D1-FW industrial controller is not supplied with a firmware module; it is the responsibility of the operator to make a special order of this firmware as a separate sub-unit. This product can be shipped globally with a one year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
