The RD51.1-5N-005-L-V1-FW is a highly advanced industrial control device designed by well-trained operators of Rexroth Indramat to control the operation of industrial motors by adjusting the input current sent to the motor through the power cable. This drive controller is designed to represent an advancement over conventional industrial devices as it combines old motor control knowledge with novel industrial technologies to form a new standard. Although this industrial controller is designed to be absolutely safe for industrial operation, however, the operation of this controller with the wrong configuration parameters can cause it to initiate the dangerous movement of servo motors. The housing of this drive controller features a special control panel made up of a special four-line display unit and pressure-sensitive keys through which configurational instructions can be sent into the controller in real-time.
The RD51.1-5N-005-L-V1-FW is not designed with a brake chopper; also, it is not supplied with a firmware module; these can, however, be specially ordered by the operator as a separate unit. The rated power output generated by industrial motors controlled by this controller is about 5 kilowatts. Under normal operating conditions, the nominal connecting voltage used by this industrial controller is about 500 volts; this electrical voltage enters the controller through a three-phase electrical connector integrated into the controller. The nominal operational efficiency of this industrial drive controller is about 95 per cent.
The RD51.1-5N-005-L-V1-FW industrial controller features a modular design; this makes it possible for industrial operators to replace any part of the controller without actually carrying out the reconfiguration of the servo system.
