The RD51.1-5B-055-L-LV-FW is a new generation industrial drive controller designed by Rexroth Indramat to control the speed, torque output, and general operation of servo motors used in the industrial servo system. This controller is a very flexible device that can operate with both synchronous and induction motors; it is also a very durable device that features an enclosure that effectively prevents the interference of large solid materials with the operation of the device. Under normal operating conditions, the efficiency of this controller is as high as 95 percent; this high efficiency makes the converter compactible with a wide range of industrial production systems such as packaging systems, hoisting and assembly system, metal forming systems, and lots more.

The RD51.1-5B-055-L-LV-FW industrial drive controller requires a rated input voltage of about 99 amperes; it, however, possesses a high overload capacity and can use an input current as high as 198 Amperes for operation without experiencing any electrical damage. The permissible temperature range for this industrial controller falls within the range of 0 to 40 degrees.
