The RD51.1-4N-007-L-NN-FW/S111 is a new-generation industrial servo drive manufactured by Rexroth Indramat to control the speed, acceleration and general operation of synchronous and induction motors used in the industrial servo system. This servo drive is characterized by its ability to control the operation of industrial motors over a broad speed range; it also features special sensors and actuators, which provides it with digital information it uses to independently correct any deviation of the controller from the preprogrammed operation parameters. The housing of the RD51.1-4N-007-L-NN-FW/S111 industrial drive controller is manufactured according to the IP20 protection class; it is also specially structured to allow for the easy integration of the servo drive into any position in the industrial environment. The RD51.1-4N-007-L-NN-FW/S111 industrial servo drive also possesses an additional signal processor (32-bit floating point), which allows the drive to carry out high dynamic control operations.
The RD51.1-4N-007-L-NN-FW/S111 is not supplied with a firmware module; this is to be specially ordered by the operator as a separate subunit depending on the application for which the servo drive is required. Although the RD51.1-4N-007-L-NN-FW/S111 drive controller is perfectly safe for industrial application, it can initiate dangerous movement in the synchronous and induction motor if it is not operated with the right configuration parameters or installed with the right wiring operation. The rated continuous current required by this industrial servo drive is about 18 amperes; however, the servo drive can also operate with a maximum current of about 23 Amperes. The rated power that can be generated by motors controlled by this drive controller is 7.5 kilowatts.
The RD51.1-4N-007-L-NN-FW/S111 industrial servo drive is designed to operate at an ambient temperature that does not exceed 45 degrees Celsius; operating the motor at a temperature higher than this will lead to a significant reduction in the efficiency of the servo drive.
