The RD51.1-4B-005-L-V1-FW is a converter model in Indramat Refu’s RD 500 drive system, which works with voltage frequency control. This means that the set value determines the output frequency of the converter, and its output voltage is adjusted to correspond to this frequency. It utilizes a nominal connecting voltage between 380V and 480V with a tolerance of ±10% and has a rated power of 5kW. This model is equipped with an integrated brake chopper whose continuous power rating is 2.8kW. It is a converter of Size Class A and is designed for cooling by the forced-air cooling mechanism.

Fast–switching semiconductors are used in the construction of the RD51.1-4B-005-L-V1-FW, ensuring power loss reduction. It has a removable control panel and is compatible with the Indramat Refu RDwin software program.
