The Bosch Rexroth RD51.1-4B-003-L-NN-FW is a drive system. It is designed for motor control applications. For 380 to 480 Volts AC nominal input, the output of the drive is 3 kilowatts. For 200 to 230 Volts AC nominal input, the output of the drive is 1.5 kilowatts. The RD51.1-4B-003-L-NN-FW drive is based on a converter with built-in brake chopper. The chopper is rated for 1.5 kilowatts of continuous power, 10 kilowatts of peak power for 10 seconds and 60 Ohms minimum resistance. The drive uses forced air cooling and weighs 6.5 kilograms. Enclosure of the RD51.1-4B-003-L-NN-FW is IP 20 rated: the enclosure provides protection from solid objects with up to 12 millimeter dimensions such as human fingers. The enclosure does not provide any protection from liquids. Therefore the drive system should be mounted inside a control cabinet.
