The RD51.1-4B-003-D-NN-P1-NN-FW is a drive system. It is part of the RD 500 RD51 product line from Bosch Rexroth. The drive system includes a converter and can be connected to 3-phase AC mains that is operating at 380 to 480 Volts AC. The nominal output power rating of the drive system is 3 kilowatts. The drive system also includes a built-in brake chopper. The RD51.1-4B-003-D-NN-P1-NN-FW drive cools through a plug through cooler. Firmware for the system needs to be ordered separately. Options for parameterization of the drive system include user panel and PC based RDwin software. The logic and control board of the drive includes integrated RS-232 and RS-485 interfaces. Optional modules including SERCOS, Interbus, CAN bus and CAN open can also be ordered from Bosch depending on customer requirements.
The drive system includes a 32-bit floating point signal processor for high performance applications and supports torque rise times of 0.3 milliseconds and current cycle times of 0.1 millisecond. A type label is mounted on the RD51.1-4B-003-D-NN-P1-NN-FW drive. This label contains information about the drive configuration. The type label should be checked upon delivery to ensure that the drive has the correct configuration. If a drive malfunctions, the information on the type label can also be used to arrange a replacement drive. Protection class of the RD51.1-4B-003-D-NN-P1-NN-FW is IP 20 according to EN 0529 with connected plug. The drive mounts inside a control cabinet and requires 0 to 40 degrees Celsius ambient temperature for proper operation. The RD51.1-4B-003-D-NN-P1-NN-FW has overload capability and can sustain 200% overload for 0.5 seconds and 170% overload for 1 second.
