The RD51.1-4B-001-L-D1-FW is an RD51 converter model in the RD 500 drive system designed and manufactured by Indramat Refu. It is a Design 1 type equipped with a built-in brake chopper. Its operation requires a 3-phase AC nominal connecting voltage between 380V and 480V and with a tolerance of ±10%. The compact converter is modular like other components of the RD 500 drive system and can be mounted in control cabinets. For maximum space optimization, it has a 22.5mm mechanical grid pattern that allows side-by-side mounting without any intermediate space.

An optional, user-friendly operator panel can be connected to the RD51.1-4B-001-L-D1-FW for its operation, visualization, and parameterization. The user panel has a 4-line graphical display and a parameter copy function. This ensures that a set of parameters can be saved in the panel and easily transferred to another unit. The converter also has an integrated start inhibitor function so that it offers protection against accidental starting as specified by EN 60 240-1.
