Product Description
Rexroth Bosch Indramat GmbH is leading company that produces drives, motors, controls and other accessories meant for PLC, robotics, MTC systems. The company offers state-of-the-art technology for rapid data processing and transmission. For example, Rexroth Indramat’s RECO02.2 I/O components offer high-performance, accuracy and adjustability with different types of drive systems.
The RMK02.2-LWL-SER-FW is a SERCOS coupling unit that belongs to the RECO02.2 series of I/O components. The RECO02.2 can be built up as an I/O station in which a coupler unit is necessary to develop a SERCOS ring network, in order to transfer input and output data from the controller to the SERCOS devices. The RMK02.2-LWL-SER-FW by Rexroth Indramat offers network connectivity of up to 15 I/O devices. The data to and from the drive is transmitted in the form of data blocks according to the specifications of SERCOS. The RMK02.2-LWL-SER-FW features Sercos interface that offers diagnosis, device adjustment and addressing, error monitoring and connectivity. The RMK02.2-LWL-SER-FW features a minimum SERCOS cycle time of 0.5ms, while its baud rate is 2Mbits/sec or 4Mbits/sec depending upon the connected input and output modules.
The SERCOS coupling unit has mounting length of 214mm including a latch at either end. It is 41.3mm wide and requires a total installation depth of 185mm. The RMK02.2-LWL-SER-FW design features 7-segment H1 display that shows the operating states of the coupling unit. Moreover, there are 2 switches located at the front panel and each has 9-step rotation. These rotary switches allows unambiguous address setting of the connected SERCOS devices between 1 and 99. The 7-segment LED display blinks in succession to display the 4-digit error code of the unit. Near the bottom, a female connector is available to insert 4-pin power supply of 24Vdc.
