Product Description
Rexroth Indramat Bosch Group has given a wide variety of drive systems to the motion control industry. RECO02.2 system is a great example of a remote input-output station by Rexroth Indramat group that features a SERCOS interface. A fully functional RECO02 system features a base rack – RMB02.2-04, a SERCOS coupler unit and as many as 15 input/output devices. The input/output devices can be connected via digital input module, digital output module, and analog module. The RME02.1-16-DC024-200 is a digital input module and it belongs to the RECO02 series of input/output modules.
The RME02.1-16-DC024-200 digital input module by Rexroth Indramat features 2 lines and it follows design code 1 which indicates that the input connector X1 is placed on the input connector X2. Since it’s an input module, the RME02.1-16-DC024-200 features 16 isolated input canals. The “DC024” indicates that input channels have a turn-on voltage of 24Vdc. The 16 inputs have been arranged in 2 isolated groups. Each of the input connectors feature 10 connector pins; 8 pins are meant for current source while the last two are used for grounding. The 24Vdc input module is specifically designed for joining the digital control signals generated by limit switches, pushbuttons and electronic proximity switches.
The input module has a length and width of 192mm and 41.3mm respectively, while it requires total depth of 150mm to be installed safely. The RME02.1-16-DC024-200 has a wide input voltage range. Voltage between -10V and 8V falls in low-voltage category while 17-30V is a high voltage category. The device features input current in the range of 0 to 10mA. More importantly, the power loss of the input module is below 4W.
