The MTS-R01.2 is a vital part of the CNC controller and comprises of SPS and NC modules. The MTS is a powerful small-format SPS module that comes with IP20 rating. The module is marked safe from 75% humidity during operation and 95% humidity when stored, with no moisture condensation. It can be used in outdoor applications owing to its safety from dust and dirt. It offers optional slots U1-U3 enabling open field bus interfaces i.e. INTERBUS and PROFIBUS-DP. The R01.2 module can be powered using a cable of cross-section up to 1.5mm2. On the switchgear cabinet, this compact module can be mounted using RMB02.2 racks on TS 35 x 27 x 15 DIN rail. The recommended atmospheric pressure for smooth operation ranges from 860 to 1080 hPa at a maximum height of 1500 meters above sea level. During transport, the atmospheric pressure should be maintained in between 660 to hPa at a maximum elevation of 3,500 meters above sea surface. The operating temperature range for the R01.2 module is above 0 and below +50 degree Celsius to meet the DIN 40 040 class KV requirements. The device has a compact enclosure with dimensions as 83.7mm x 192mm x 156mm. the total mass of the object is 1 kg approximately. It requires supply voltage of 24 VDC with 4 Vss permissible ripples. The permissible voltage range for this control unit starts from 18 and ends at 28 VDC including ripples. The maximum current consumption for MTS-R01 module is 0.5 A. D-SUB, 15-way and female connectors are available for programming interface and general-purpose serial interface.
