The RAC 4.1-400-460-LP0-W1 is best known for providing intelligent digital control of asynchronous main spindle motors manufactured by Indramat. It can also serve as a main spindle drive controller for frameless spindle motors. It produces a maximum resolution of 1/4 000 000 revolutions. The RAC 4.1- 400-460-LP0-W1 is built with a functional ventilation system. It has a heat sink and a cooling fan that guides the cooling air through the unit’s air shaft. An additional encoder or a synchronization input is also available for the spindle’s feedback. The RAC 4.1-400-460-LP0-W1 offers additional interface which are optional. The drive controller should be operated within a within a permissible ambient temperature range of +5 up to +45°C. The maximum permissible ambient temperature should not exceed +55°C.
In terms of protection classification, the RAC 4.1-400-460-LP0-W1 falls under IP 10 classification which means that it is protected against foreign objects with more than 50 mm in diameter.
