Manufactured by Rexroth Indramat, the RAC 3.5-100-460-APD-W1-220 is suited for 100A current with its rated supply voltage of 3xAC 380V-460V, 50-60Hz. It comes equipped with a default analog interface with an additional encoder input for spindle feedback or 2nd motor feedback. It also has an additional position set-point, digital (16 bit parallel) interface. It comes with an inbuilt fan as default suited for inside cooling but the RAC 3.5-100-460-APD-W1-220 can be altered to equip outside or hose cooling methods. All mounting accessories are provided alongside the assembly kit but the hose is a separate purchase. The rated supply voltage is at AC 220V/50-60 Hz and the unit does not include an additional bleeder.
The environmental conditions for optimal operation are as given; an ambient temperature of 5 to 45 degrees Celsius with an upper limit of 55 C at which performance decrease is noticeable. Maximum elevation at which values for torque and power are not affected is 1000m above which the parameters start falling off. Permissible ambient humidity is class F, as per DIN 40 040 with water condensation being the main issue effecting performance.
The unit falls in protection category IP 10 as per EN 60 529 (DIN VDE 0470) ensuring protection against foreign objects, water and deliberate damage. The protection categories for the interior of the control cabinet and fan are IP 54 and IP 24 respectively. The electrical connections of Indramat main spindle drives are standardized to keep the range of cables offered limited. The three-phase supply network also comes pre-installed with the mains contactor and emergency stop circuit. Repair and exchange services are also provided. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
