The RAC 3.5-100-460-A00-W1-220 main spindle drive controller from Bosch Rexroth is used for the digital control of the manufacturer’s 1MB and 2AD series of motors with a continuous power of 10 to 30kW at the output shaft. This product has a series code of 3 and a design code of 1. It has a broad speed range and an internal position control loop. The device is capable of positioning the spindle independently and operate as a C-axis with high precision. The unit is cooled during operation using a mounted fan.
