The Bosch RAC 2.3-250-380-A00-Z1 is a RAC 2 series of the main spindle drive controller. It consists of a mounted blower, an additional bleeder, an analog speed set-point interface, series 2 design, and 250 amps of type current. The rated connection voltage of the drive controller is 3x400 Volts AC. The c-axis control of the motor spindle is possible with this RAC 2.3-250-380-A00-Z1 drive controller. It is designed to be used with a 2AD main spindle motor. One of the important safety features of the drive is direct current braking facilities which help to stop the spindle of the motor when the power is removed. It is fully compatible to use with Rexroth frameless spindle motors. This drive ensures faster commissioning and improved spindle control response.      

The RAC 2.3-250-380-A00-Z1 main spindle drive controller has the main contactor and an emergency stop switch for increased safety. It consists of a control panel which is located on the front panel of the module. It also has an analog interface for communicating the speed command values with the control devices.
